CS PhD student @ U of T
I am a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, advised by Prof. Colin Raffel. I am also part of the ELLIS PhD Program, with Prof. Edoardo Ponti as my ELLIS co-advisor.
I completed my MSc in Artificial Intelligence at Johannes Kepler University Linz, supervised by Prof. Markus Schedl. My research focuses on composable, parameter-efficient language models and multimodal systems. I’m especially interested in modular architectures, personalised and robust behaviour, and applications such as intelligent assistants and multilingual information access in long-tail languages and noisy, real-world settings.
I have been fortunate to gain research experience at ETH Zürich (advised by Mario Giulianelli and Ryan Cotterell) and Deezer Research, as well as industry experience at Bosch and Leftshift One. From April to September 2026, I was an Applied AI Scientist Intern at Thomson Reuters Labs in Zug, Switzerland.
Outside research, I enjoy photography and exploring music & language across cultures.
